Slowly and steadily, the demand for dine-in is shifting to delivery, and new demand, rather new supply for the already existing demand for late night delivery is being generated. The new entrant in this segment is The Last Mughal operating out of Shahpur Jat.
First of all, it’s very difficult to find a North Indian and Mughlai outlet that delivers till 3 in the morning. Second, the prices are usually exorbitant. But The Last Mughal solves the problem, serving delicious North Indian/Mughlai food at reasonable prices.
I ordered the following dishes:
Lahori Seekh: One of the best vegetarian seekh kebabs I’ve had in a long time. It was absolutely full of flavour.
Masala Paneer Tikka: The marination was pretty good, but it wasn’t cooked through properly. Nevertheless, it still tasted good.
Dal Makhni: Now, I was definitely disappointed with the dal because it lacked flavour. Salt was one thing that was missing from this dal.
Malai Kofta: The malai kofta was soft, sweet and full of raisins. The gravy was very creamy.
Mix veg: The mix vegetables were quite delicious.
Overall, I’d say The Last Mughal is a good option for late night delivery!
