En, a quiet and beautiful fine dine restaurant nestled away in a corner of Mehrauli in the Ambawatta Complex with a scenic and mesmerizing view of the Qutub Minar is a definite place to look out for if you’re in the vicinity or planning a special meal with your loved ones.
It’s a huge property with indoor as well as outdoor seating and the terrace is undoubtedly a beauty and perfect for a nice Sunday brunch, which is when I happened to visit the property. It was a bright and sunny day, so I picked a table that was indoors and had the perfect view of the Qutub Minar.
Then I moved on to check the Sunday Brunch. Although I would have liked the place better if there was more variety in the buffet, nevertheless, the taste of each and every dish was impeccable. The sushi varieties were a star, be it the asparagus sushi or the California roll. The spring rolls were quite delicious but again I felt that for appetizers they could have had some non-fried options as well. The main course was delicious. The noodles and the fried rice were different and nice. And the dessert, well that was my favourite course for the day. First of all the presentation was great, it was a sort of a miniature version. Secondly, the cheesecake was the most delectable and creamy one I’ve had in a very long time. Plus the combination of sorbet, dark chocolate brownie and cheesecake was a great one. The service was unfaltering and we were taken care of very well. The cocktails were smashing and I had the Red Wine Sangria and Peach Margarita, both being my all time favourites!
So if you’re craving for some great sushi, you know where to head!
